I don't even know where to begin writing. The first thing that comes to mind seems like a good place to start. I'm hungry. Ok, second thing - what has really annoyed me lately is the fact that people don't keep promises. So I was about to buy a car; I paid the deposit, paid for a mechanical inspection and only thing left was to get a roadworthy certificate. Two weeks of anticipation and daydreaming about the roadtrips I would be taking, the
convenience I'll have and the enjoyment of driving it, then BAM!!!!!!! The wife says she doesn't want to sell it anymore because it's 'too much trouble' and she 'really loves the car'. The husband seller who I had been dealing with said they wanted to sell the car because it wasn't practical for them to drive around their grandchildren and was partly also a financial matter. To me it seems quite irrational for the wife to keep it just because she has an emotional attachment to it. Then again, you can't believe everything people tell you. For all I know, they may have sold to someone else or withdrew from the sale because they want to get a higher price from a dealer. I get an email a few days later from that seller with a link to another car for sale. "Maybe something for you?" it said. Thanks, but no thanks. You would do me a bigger favour if you had gone through with the sale in the first place.
At the end of the day, I still have no car, I'm starting a new job that requires travelling, and final exams are coming closer. SoSad.
End of rant.
